Blakesburg Ia 3-12-83 Mr George S Finney your Postal Card recd by last mail, I also recd a letter from you a short time ago. Concluded not to answer letter as the 1st of March was so near by, so I could write you about payment &c Well the Mans name is Wiand, he came over here last Wed and paid me on place 1400$ and the 200$ he paid me When we traded in all to date 1600$ he said the ballanc will be forth Coming in a few days. I have made out the deed by Virtue of power of atty. and will deliver the same to him when the ballance is paid. Will deposite money
