Blakesburg Ia July 6 - 86 Mr G S Finney Yours of the 2nd Inst came to hand yesterday, and will ans by return mail, you say you had written me some time ago for one hundred dollars, and had no ans to it, Well I am at the first of it, I recd no such letter, but will say now I have not the money to send you, I have been at a wonderfull expense this Summer, and besides we have over 100 acres of medow to cut and to do that will have to buy me an other mowing machein $60 a Climax Stacker & 2 Rakes $125 and will have to buy them on time. We can rake out of the swath and it goes right in the stack. If it will be any favor to you, I can borrow the money
