Saving...
your Mother and me thought we would make a trip out to your place this fall, but we have so much to look after we can hardly get away, Trussell sold the other day 40 head of 2s and 3s stears, weigh about 1100 av. for 3 cents. We have 16 head to sell; though Cattle are a dull sale, and money matters are Very Close. Frank writs me he has 19 head of Cows that Cost him 50 & 60$ each, cant get now more than 15 & 20$ and 9 head of horses & Colts cant sell at any price. he still thinks of going to Washington T.ry. We get no word from Eddy, dont know where he is, there is from 10 to 12 trains of Cars that pass over our road each day. Well is there any land changeing hads in your section? Emma is at home yet, all well from your Father &c SG Finney
