Blakesburg Ia 4-6-90 Mr Geo S Finney Chambers Neb yours of the 1st Inst recd day before yesterday the young Cattle you bought was Cheep enough. Mr. Trussell bought last week some Calves one year old this spring from Hack Carl for 15$ a head. I sold my 20 head of steers I was feeding for 3 1/4 cents they come to nearly 800$ it will take nearly all of it to pay my tax, and debts. you mention about every boddy being in debt in your sec. of Country. I expect it is only a question of short time and most of them will go under. they had a big fire in Ottumwa this week, Craners & co oat
