2 here to origon about one month ago, he writs back that he likes the Country Very much, and his Wife will go out there soon to where he is. We recd a letter some 4 weeks ago from Laura Collins who lives in that State they are well satisfied with there situation. We also recd a letter from your Bro Ed dated at Porter Vill Cal. he writes that he has Inventid a new device by which a Buggy can be run 40 miles an hour by means of Electricity, but Placing a Dinemo in the Corner of the Buggy and that a 10 year old boy can opperate it with Safety. he has applyed for a Patent says he has a fortune in Sight. And wishes to sell State Rights, and in the Wester States will sell for Land
