(5) March 10 since writeing my letter I have just Learnd of the Death of P G Ballengall, he died on Board of a ship on the Coast of China, and was burried at Hong Kong China, he will be greatly missed among his Many friends. I have just learnd to of the Death of Griver Beck of Fairfield, he died last week, he was a very Geneal, Clever Man, you certainly have not forgotten him. James Nixon who lived near John Dentons, died last night. And so on one by one they are passing away. Jerry Thompson has been laid up for 6 weeks with rheumatism SGF
