Blakesburg Ia 4-19-91 Mr G S Finney yours of the 11th Inst Came to hand yestrday. the first ques. you ask "did you option your land to Coal Co. no I did not" thought it best to keep out, others have optiond to the extent of 3000 or 4000 acres, they will commenc in a few days makeing tests on Gim Vancleaves land. Since I wrote you last Oscar Webb & Ella have lost there other twin baby, they were two quite pritty well developed Children. our spring season is very backword. People are not more than hald done sowing oats, some think it to late and will not sow any. you Mention about so much hard work, I have thought a good deal about that, & wonderd
