Blakesburg Ia 5-31-92 Mr Geo. S Finney I was just looking over your letter of april 28 and dont recollect Whether I ever ans. it or not. If not, better late than never. In the first Place We are haveing the most trying time of farming I ever say, rain, rain,, rain,,, all the time, a perfect deluge of rain, now the last day or may and no corn planted yet and but little Plowing done. farmers did not sow half the oats they intended, grass was never better.
