Hampton Neil & his sister Deborah came here yesterday, but Will return home this eve. they said they heard of your being at Segorney and that you told some parties there that it was your Mother that was on the Ill fated train, though they did not see you. Well I see by My Otto Paper yesterday that a great fire had been rageing in Holt Co some 3 miles wide & 30 miles long & a good deal of Property had been destroyed, I wish I could say more in the Way of advice for your benefiet, trust I may here from you again soon, from your Father &c S.G.
