Blakesburg Ia May 1-94 Mr George S Finney After so long a time of silence I thought I would Venture to write you a letter, of course not knowing how it will be recd or how much attention it will receive. I went to Keokuk two weeks ago to attend the funeral of Mr Connable, he died two weeks ago last Sunday very sudden without a moments warning. on my way home on Wednesday, Swiggett had just got back from Heleny Montana with the remains of his Wife for burial at Ottumwa of course I stayed, there was a great deal of respect shown. Well George there has been a great Many Changes here
