We are having the most beautiful weather here. This is warm and beautiful as May. Brackton Mass. Dec. 25" 1877 My Dear Bro. & Sister We were very glad some time ago to receive your letter full of such good news concerning yourself & family & your new home, I was considerably troubled when I first heard about your going to Kansas, but sometime before you started I was before the Lord in prayer for you & received a most blessed assurance in my own heart that the Lord would go with you & that it was his will for you to go. Since that time I have not doubted but he would take care of you. You may think strange of this & perceive being so difirinte, but since God came to me and heard me, my communion has been much more intimate and personal than ever before.
