Saving...
I expects Emily will suffer more from being lonesome [illegible], but it will not be long until you will have plenty of neighbors and be in a home of your own on your own land. So courage & patience will soon bring a better day. You are certainly [versed?] in buying your Rail Road land. If I were you I would try and if possible keep free from debt. Was glad especially to learn that you were all well I was fearful some of you would be sick after you went out there. This is Christmas day and [Princemond?] is happy for Santa Claus was very good to him last night, bringing him a wheelbarrow pair of rubber boots a harp & jumping jack. We shall be glad to hear from you as often as you can find it convenient to write. You will not have to wait very long until A M. E Preacher will call to see you. We pray for you daily. Jennie with me wishes to be remembered to you all especially the children. May God bless you all. Ever your Bev. W. G. Wilson
