January 20, 1935 Mrs. McKean was hostess to the Cary Club with five members present. Meeting was called to order by the president. The minutes of the last meeting were read and after a correction were approved. Mrs [illegible] gave a report of the federation meeting. Mrs Winter read the chapter "Manifest Destinny lays a Golden Egg" from the book Epic of America in place of Mr. Waffle who could not be present. Current events were given followed by adjounment.
