  The Cary Club met on the above date at the home of 

Miss Alta Emerson, 18 members and 2 visitors were present.
Mrs C. A. Pyle of Hollywood Fla. a former member and
Master Bobby Scott. Minutes of previous meeting read and 
approved. Mrs Wilson presented the final installment of My 40
[illegible] in the White House reviewing 10 chapters in a most 
interesting manner. 1st Strictly personal opinions and comparis
ons of the Presidents. Their [illegible] characteristics in dress and 
adournments, their [illegible] and diversions. 2nd, The Business 
of being President. 3rd, The Daily Routine. 4th Work and Play
How does the President Work. 5th The first Ladies of the Land
6th Keeping House for the President. 7th The Social Whirl
8th Guests at the White House. 9th Climbers & crashers. 10th
How we saw them. An intensely Interesting Book in its entirety.
Adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs Erwin.
