Sixteen members of the Cary Club enjoyed a one o'clock luncheon Monday, June 5, at the home of Mrs. L.M. Phelps. They were seated at one large lace covered table and two quartet tables which were very pretty centered with spring flowers. Mrs. E.W. Griffiths, an active member for forty years of service was present. After the two course luncheon the regular club meeting was held with Mrs. Fernow presiding. Mrs Clara Nilson read to paper on the history of the club from date obtained from old records and newspaper clippings also from club programs dating back to 1899, giving a resume of the varied and educational subjects studied by the club. These programs belonged to Mrs J.C. Davis deceased who was long a member of the club and her daughter, Mrs. Carrie Reichert, now an active member
