by Mrs. Valland that Miss Dunlap name a committee of three to work on the desired ammendment. seconded. carried. Miss Dunlap appointed Mrs. Mayer, Miss Devitt and Miss [Lawter?] on this com. While this committee were busy Mrs. Patterson of Sioux City gave the report on the resolutions committee. Resolutions. In convention assembled we wish to thank the women of Des Moines and the Harris Emery Management for their splendid local arrangements. As this, our first annual convention of delegates for the League of Women Voters our state officers and what has been accomplished in our citizenship schools thro' the co-operation of the State University's extension department by Prof. Klingancan, Mrs. Mayer and other workers. We recommend the continuance of such schools thro' the coming year. For the best interests of this [house?] and the nation, we recommend that a vigorous educational campaign be undertaken by every one of the eight committees outlined in our national league.
