Mrs. Fred Hunter moved that we accept the treasurers report with enthusiasm. seconded unanimously. Mrs. Passig followed the treasurers report with a short talk in financing the League for the coming year. The finance committee estimate the cash of head quarters and an organizing force for the year should call for $10,000. Mrs. Passig moved that the League plan to follow the plan outlined for state work. Seconded - carried. Mrs. Fred Hunter gave the report of the committee on the memorial for Suffrage pioneer workers. Mrs. Lawther offers the following resolutions. I should like to offer this resolution to be entered on the records of the League - where as - Dean Catherine J. Mac Kay a faithful and efficient member of this League and a noble and inspiring leader of the women of the state and nation has died since our last meeting that we assembled in annual convention rise and bow our heads in sorrow in our loss and send a note of sympathy to her family and to the college where she established a great department of home economics. Mrs. Rusty of Charles City presented the following resolution. Resolved that the Iowa League of Women Voters in convention assembled extend to
