Mrs. Mayer moved that the League of Women Voters give James Cole a gift not to exceed fifteen dollar in cost. seconded - carried. Adjourned for luncheon - to reconvene at 2 P.M. Board meeting called to order at 2 o' clock P.M. Mrs. Devitt gave a short talk on Women in Industry and announced that a conference is scedueled to meet tomarrow Apr. 4 composed of delegates from seventeen organizations to make definite plans for activity in the near future. Mrs. Rusty gave a report upon plans for child welfare . So much work presents its self to this committee it is difficult to choose a place to begin. Mrs. Mayer moved that Mrs. Rusti - state chairman of this Child welfare committee, be empowered to out-line and execute a plan for a survey of conditions relating to the administration of the Sheppard Towner Law and that she may incur such expense for printing and clerical help as she deems necessary and within reasonable limits - subject to the approval of the State President. seconded by Mrs. Mc Kin - carried. Miss Fenton gave short talk upon Iowa laws relating to Women and says
