Dr. Stewart moved that the Board ask the National to send a speaker for the Annual meeting - seconded - carried. Mrs Ruste moved that the League of Women Voters secure headquarters at the State Fair - In Women's and Childrens Bldg - if possible, and appoint a committee to that end. Dr. Stewart seconded - carried. Mrs Pierce [appointin?] Mrs Mayer chair-man of Committee on resolutions to be presented to the political parties. A letter from James L. Cole thanking the League of Women Voters for a gift of money - was read by the Secretary. Moved and seconded that James Cole letter be inscribed in the minutes of the meeting. Adjourned to meet at call of State chair-man M. Bertha Van Alstine Rec. Sec.
