Local League programs. The local league program this summer consists of calling together groups perhaps of ten, a veranda group to discuss this question of a World Court and the Outlawing of War and to as the churches to co-operate, to ask each minister to preach at lease one sermon on this important subject which is to be voted on in our senate next winter in Washington. Also to interest the High School pupils to write essays and local leagues to offer the prizes. National aim for County and local Leagues ti assist in getting out the vote raising the percent of those voting from 49% to 75%. "The Living Costs" Committee is going to have a booth at every County Fair and the Committee on "International Co-operation to Prevent War" is going to co-operate. Connecticut voted to raise 50-$100 subscriptions according to the National Finance plan outlined at Des Moines Convention. Mrs Rose presented the following resolution which she intended to present to the Polk County Farm Bureau meeting later in the day. "The Polk County Farm Bureau heartily endorse the President's recommendation to the Senate that the U.S. join the permanent court of International Justice." The following ten people were endorsed as Iowa's most prominent women as asked for by the Register and Leader. 1. Carrie Chapman Catt. 2. Amelia Bloomer. 3.
