Justice, believing this to be the first step toward the outlawing of war, and toward that fuller and more far reaching international co-operation which is necessary to prevent war; and be it also Resolved, that we urge our government to take fuller steps to eliminate the causes of war and to abolish war itself by association with other nations for the maintenance of abiding peace; and be it finally Resolved, that we call upon all citizens of the U.S. without regard to party affiliation, to unite in support of every constructive effort toward permanent world organization for peace. Where a, the State of Iowa is fairly well equiped with laws relating to Social Hygiene. Where as, the National League emphasized the importance of educational measures. Therefore be it resolved that the I.L.W Voters, study educational measures relative to Social Hygiene and prepare programs for such studies for League units and for other groups. Mrs Mayer accorded the adoption of the Resolution as a whole. Carried.
