March 27th Post Convention Board Meeting Met at 4 P.M. at Headquarters in the Shoppe Bldg with the President Mrs Daniels presiding. Following members were present Mrs Gordon Elliott, Mrs Florence Koch, Mrs Fred Hunter, Mrs Stromaten, Dr Mills, Mrs Sam Wolf and Mrs Clarence Knutson. Mrs. Daniels presented her resignation which read as follows. "I hereby tender my resignation as president of the Iowa League of Women Voters. It is a matter of sincere regret that for health and family reasons this action is imperative. The work throughout has been a pleasure. Mrs Koch moved to accept the resignation. Mrs Stromaton seconded the motion. Carried. Mrs Koch moved that Miss Anna Drake be elected President of the Iowa League of Women Voters. Motion seconded by Mrs Elliott. Carrie.d Board adjourned. Mrs Clarence Hazel Wood Knutson Sec. g March 27th at 4:30 P.M. the executive board met with Miss Drake presiding. Those present Miss Drake, Mrs Elliott, Mrs Knutson of the Executive Committee also the Past President Mrs Daniels, Mrs Sam Wolf and Dr Margerite Mills of Otternova. Moved by Mrs Elliott that Dr Throckmorton be made chairman of Social Hygiene. Motion seconded. Carried. Moved by Mrs Knutson that the present chairmen of standing committee be continued with the exception of Social Hygiene. Motion seconded by Mrs Elliott. Carried.
