March 18 1926 At 9:45 A.M. the board met in executive session, the president presiding. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Eleprice [illegible] were present. The Pres report were read and accepted. Balance on hand was$163.78 Mrs. [illegible] moved that we pay 5 mo salary [illegible] thru May. Motion carried. Mrs. Milleon moved that all outstanding bills be paid. Motion carried. Mrs. [illegible] moved that all [correspondence?] bills be paid. Motion carried. Mrs. Milleon moved that the Iowa League of Women Voters endorse the work for the New Congressional appropriation for the Maternity and Infancy Act, and study of its operation and of Federal Aid. Motion carried. Mrs. [illegible] moved that the Iowa League of Women Voters go on opposing the Wadsworth [illegible] amendment. Motion carried. Mrs. McKim moved that the board recommend opposition to the Equal Rights Amendment to our Constitution.
