Sunday morning, August 26th 1/66 My dear Clara, I prefer family in my new vacation. I can surely "square the circle" of this baby all right. I am glad you have even a "faint" remembrance of my valuable services in times past, arent gone, but I [illegible] never to be forgotten, You say every one has their mission, I think I had allmost as believe the words of my "prophet" would come time as to be always in their [illegible] - You say, now you will be serious - I would like to see you so. I got the masstued from Edith and sent in the satchel to Pastor in care of Charly Danforth - you ask her about it if she has not got it it will be at the Depot yet. their ounces at thirty cents an ounce, the buttons for Hattie's I will look all ones for, but hardly think I can get a pretty button for that dress, so cheap. I have looked at [illegible] and [illegible] for them but found none suitable. Corrine Kate is very smart indeed for her. She read up tomas yesterday, and sat up most all day after she came back and has gone to ride again this morning. I certainly hope as well as you do, that she will get along very soon, without me.
