The last was very acceptable Algona Apr. 10th/70 My Dear Little Wife Doc. & Steb. arived here by team Friday, & Doc. started back this morning they & another team, came with [illegible] team from Macon City & thot best to hurry right back before the Roads broke up entirely. Steb. remains here I think they are both well pleased with the country, as Doc. will probably reach there about as soon as this does he can say for himself, he will bring Nettie home. I shall try to start for home in ten days I think about week from Tuesday. I shall provide some place for us to move into when we get back here, don't quite know what it will be now. I have several trades on a String, do know which one will draw yet. One man living on one of the Lots I am trying to trade with is slower than time & I want to fix it with him before I commence to build, it is one of 4 Lots laying together that are very nice ground, & I want to get him out of the way. I shall build a small house for the present until I can have time to get Lumber Seasoned. I am now about buying out my Competitors here I think I will make it win too, after a little then I will have "the Field" until the cars gets here. Property is advancing very fast & things are getting quite lively again, we have had a whole week of splendid sunshine weather
