Also Dealers in Grain, Pork, Hides, Coal and Salt Algona, Iowa, Feb. 15, 1875 Dear Wife, and (Nettie?), I sent postal card to you to Chicago yesterday but (presume?) you left before it would reach you. Our mails have been so [deranged?] owing to frequent blizzards & [illegible] that there is just no dependence on them. Our road is now open to Mason City & we get mail 3 times a week. Well I came back far as Dakota the next day & ran into a storm & stayed 2 days reached home Friday, all right. We are getting along nicely weather fine but cold. Harry is staying with Mrs.Colby tonight. He is very lonesome of course, but gets along first rate better than I thot he would, but he is such a busy [bodily?] he doesn't get time to think. We all feel very lonely but it won't do to give up to it but rather accept the situation as a necessity forced on us trusting all will result for the best. At the same time our hearts and affections are looking out to you both all the time for your welfare. So you must both lay aside everything but what will aid you in getting strong in the quickest possible time. I forward a letter just recd from Mollie. Your [illegible] husband & father J.J. Wilson
