Rume came with his Father's coat and while he rent the air with threats of vengeance George sobbed. The pocketbook was empty of everything save a few old passes, one dated back to 81. Just think of his placing this coat in the hands of Henry Simpkins to send. Rume sent the Col. five paid dispatches. He sent five in return "collect" Rume carried his coat to Algona.
