I talked calmly but earnestly and he knew I meant it. I hope he will heed the lesson. I put up with all his ridicule of George as a medium but when he talked in dead earnest calling him a "trickster" and a "fraud" in such a contemptuous way, and by the flash of hatred in his eyes I saw that he meant every word. I felt insulted. It seems to me that he has had his own way always, everybody putting up with him as you and I have done. I had a time with him about letters and I don't think I'll be troubled with him in that way any more. I hope I shall hear no more abuse of George. There is a deal that is good about Aiden but he needs disciplining severely and he will get it sometime. That man has been allowed to go to
