On art cont. "Well heck"... I just love doing then! I could paint some of the old landscapes from the materials I have but they would be different. You can't be pulled. You can't be a puppet. You have to do your own thing regardless of whether people like them or don't like them. I got good training. You learned to draw. You learned the fundamentals!.. The basics! You got good discipling, you learned how to work. For a little while now the art schools were just teaching nonsense. It's play, isn't it? You dont get any basics, do you? You've seen the people who copy things in museums? I was very much interested and very complimented when I went into the gallery (at u. of i.) and found someone copying what I did. I thought: "well, they only do this at the Louvre!!"
