Creativity: One does not create in a vacuum. Doing begets ideas. Suggestions and openings occur from almost any activity, experience or contact. Creative people turn the thinking process inside out and upside down. They see and experience the unusual in the usual. They grasp the unexpected. You have to be motivated. You have to have compulsion. You have to have involvement and independence. You have to exercise and stretch your mind. In my own experience it is by doing and being active that I get my ideas. What you do suggests something you haven't thought of before. You "tee off" with a certain idea. I think you have to keep your mind open, flexible, oiled and flowing. You cant be tied to anything
