Mon. p.m. May 18, 42 Dearest, Of course I arrived home safe and sound. I got an express bus out of Toledo and arrived in Detroit about 11 and was home in bed at 12 p.m. My dear, everytime I come down I am more certain, if that is possible, that we were made for each other. We surely have everything in common. I am surely the luckiest chap who ever lived. (or do they all feel that way when they're in love?) I was thrilled at the way we could work and plan together. T'was swell. -o- I am returning Meyer Perlgut's letter. I entered his army address on our mailing list. Yours in love, B.J. (over)
