vinced. Anyway, I laughed ruefully and confessed that I was giving up the idea of sleep. Everything conspired against me. The family is abed but I'm not sleepy. My mind is too filled with unanswered questions: Did you get my letter? Why don't you answer? Why did I ever write it? How can I dare to hope that things will ever come right in my heart again? And yet I know nothing endures forever and soon I'll look back on this hellish agonized week and know that it was then I grew up and learned that I must learn to endure and to walk
