I've this comment to make on your special: that I can see now that if things go wrong between us it will be my fault, not yours, because if ever a man knew how to handle me it's you. Your touch is psychologically perfect. The only simile that occurs to me is that of a master horseman with a fiery, high-strung steed. He never loses patience at those times when a lesser man would take to a whip; he soothes away the panic, he's firm in the face of rebellion; and the animal learns to trust him so that, though he might be unmanageable by anyone else his confidence in the master is complete.
