August, 1902. Sun. 24. Fair & cool, S.E. 72º. At M.E. C. morn. - our own evg. - Pastor Stull at Rossville A.M. [mission?] service. Mon. 25. Cloudy & cold, & rain thro mid-day. - Busy at office. tho' suffering. Kept quiet, evg. Tues. 26. Fair cold morn. Clouded over. Very fine after 11 am - not hot. Busy office. Clara at work again in a.m.'s. Rev. Stull & wf. at Rossville. Wed. 27. Foggy morn & mild - 60º. Fine day; and reached 80º first for a long time. Busy abstracting [illegible]. Kind of giddy. Thurs. 28. Fine morning. Fair day. about 80 P.M. or a little over. Easterly breezes. Schroda worked all day, morning, hoeing & digging potatoes. Fri. 29. Fine morning. Easterly breeze. Fair & partly overcast, 83º or 84º. Really very comfortable day. Rev. Stull had supper with me at Wilkinson's. A little giddy. Sat. 30. Soaking rain very early morn. Fair day - 80º or more. Picked up potatoes. 2 bus. New Queen & 3/4 King of Earlies. 103 WY.
