September, 1902. Sun. 7. Very fine day & warmer, almost 80 P.M. - church as usual. about sick evg. took a walk 5 [illegible]. Mon. 8. Thunder showers in night. Dark & [illegible] morn. 64º. Gloomy & chilly. - Busy office; evg. also, Making report & indexing, till 9:30. Much colder. Tues. 9. Clear & cold morn, 44º N.W. - Very fine day, but cold N.W. breeze. Busy office & there evg; after supper at Lewis Hersey's. Wed. 10. Fair, & some warmer, S.W. wind. - Busy - evg. short time only. Clara came home for over night. Thurs. 11. Only 47º cloudy morn. westerly breeze Fair P.M. - cold N.W. breeze. Busy office C. in P.M. while I took up chrysanthemums & roses. Office evg - insurance. Rev. Stull got moved. Fruits [illegible] Fri. 12. Sharp frost. clouded over morn. & remained so till evg. clearing again. Busy office Cl. in awhile a.m. Only about 50º at noon. Sat. 13. Another Frost. Very fine day, 57º or 60º noon. Gentle S. breeze evg. Busy - Copying church list. evg.
