September, 1902. Sun. 21. Cloudy & mild. 65º & rainy P.M. Quite a rain very early morn. - At ch. morn & evg. Mon. 22. Heavy fog, morn, 61º. Cloudy & misty, warm 65º. Quite muddy; dark & [disaprable?] C in P.M. Office. evg. Tues. 23. Cloudy N.E. 60º Dark & muddy; fairing evg. - cooler. N.E. Golden Wedding celebration for O.F. & Mrs. Ferris at church, evg. $122.50 presented to them, chiefly in gold. Wed. 24. Fair. N.E. 45º. Cloudy & chill day, E. Wind evg. - At meeting evg. series begun. Thurs. 25. Cloudy. N.E. 48º. Misty, muddy & dark. tho' warmer somewhat. Dinner at church. At mtg. evg. Fri. 26. Cloudy S.E. 54º Cloudy morn fair P.M. Locked up an hour P.M. to see part of fast ball game. At mtg. a while evg. Clara came up with Fred Simonsen. Sat. 27. Rained most all night & misty, dark & muddy day. Very busy in office; - so could only be up in [Constitution?] about 10 min. Was re-nominated for 5th term by acclamation. Too tired to [illegible] mtg. & staid home.
