October, 1902. Sun. 5. Fair & Warmer, over 60º PM. S.W. At mtg. morn & evg. Mon. 6 Fair 45º S.W. breeze. Very fine day, 70º P.M. - not clear. - C in P.M. Took up more "Mums" P.M. - At mting evg. closing the series. Tues. 7. Fair. Westerly 44º. Fine day. About 70º - C. in P.M. while I moved heater into dining room. Office a little while evg. (Got ear trumpet from Dubuque). Wed. 8. Fair, west, 48º Very fine day, 72º - suffering with severe cold. Took cabinet bath evg. & quinine. Thurs. 9. Fair. cold N.E. wind 40º. Fine day, but cold wind. Better if cold office a little while evg. Sat. 11th Fair 39º. S. wind. Nice most day 70º but partly overcast; & rainy evg. Very busy; evg. also. C in P.M. Girls drove to sch. #4, Ludlow. (This Saturday). Sun. 12th. Rainy day, & cooler, North, evg. At ch. morn. & evg. small [illegible] evg. Rev. Stull out to Federation German Church Ludlow, P.M. (This for Sunday).
