March, 1906. Sun. 4. 18° Fairish. N.W. a little light snow all day. At mtg. morn. & Evg. all. Mon. 5. 9° Clear. N. gtle. Thawed a little. H. rode out to school. C. in A.M. & P.M. Office a while Evg. Tues. 6. 27° Cloudy, S.E. gtle. Fair, or overcast & a little soft snow most all day. melting C. in A.M. & P.M. & I took long morning. Busy abstracting. home evg. with pain in both eyes Wed. 7. 27° overcast, N.E. v. gtle. Fair day. thawing. - C. in a.m. & P.M. - Feeling better but staid home Evg. & folks went to Katharine Ridgway entertainment. - H. rode in. Thurs. 8. 29° fair, N. gtle. 42° max. Some rain & snow. H. walked out. Very busy; Evg till 9 - C. in a.m. & p.m. & dinner at church. Spelling school evg. Let coal fire go out. first out since starting. Dec 21 Fri. 9. 30° Fair. N.W. - Snow squalls & colder Evg. - C. in a.m. Busy. Evg. a while; (9:20) Supper at the Grand. H. rode in Sat. 10. 16° Clear. NW gtle & brisk. 30° max. Busy, Evg. till 9 o'c. C. in P.M. Holahan (saloon) corner burned out 4 o'c morn. Started coal fire again this morn & let it burn out Sunday Evg, 3 or 4 hods full left.
