APRIL, 1906 Sun. 8. 40 to 45° Fog & rain, S.E. at mtg am & Evg. Mon. 9. 36 rain, N.W. Fair day but only 44°. Train wrecked going down pm 2 cars smashed but nobody hurt. C. in A.M. & P.M. (50 years ago to-day we reached Waukon) 105 Tues. 10. Cool & fair morn. N.W. breeze all day. Cloudy but mild day. C. in P.M. - Indexing a while, Evg. Wed. 11. Frost, S.W. gtle. Warmed up to 65°. S.E. - C. in A.M. & P.M. Home evg. Thurs.12. 45° fair, S.E. wind, threatening. Grew quite warm. with slight showers Evg. C. in A.M. only. Benefit supper at M B.A. hall. Fri. 13. 50° cloudy. S.E. wind. Light shower A.M. & Sun shine mixed in P.M. W.S.W. Evg & showery. C. in A.M. & P.M. - Supper at church, and Easter sale. - Office evening till 9. Sat. 14. Cold.
