August, 1906. Sun. 5. Fair, northerly, 85° max. At M.E. church morn & evg. & at Baraca class. Mon. 6. Fair & warm, threatening rain Girls went to camp on Iowa River P.M., with Goody Koontz party. C. in P.M. Not well, but at work. Tues. 7. A little rain morn., fairish day. 80° max. Busy but feeling ill. Wed. 8. Fog & rain, morn, & rainy most all day. Busy about Wedgwood & Angier Estates matters, copies & insurance. Feeling scarcely better. stomach painful. Thurs. 9. Very copious showers, P.M. Bad time for campers. - Very careful of diet & feeling better. Fri. 10. Fair & warm. Looks a little showery C. in a while P.M. Feeling better. Crickets chirping. Wt. 102 Sat. 11. Beautiful morn., v.gtle northerly breeze Fair all day. C. in P.M. Getting ready to go to Minneapolis Monday. G.A.R.
