December, 1906. Sun. 30. Rain in night, & very icy walks, &c Snowing fast evening. At meeting morn & Evg. Mon. 31. 26° Cloudy N.W. about 5 in. of wet snow, & trees & wires loaded down. Growing considerably cooler during day. C. in A.M. & P.M. - At office Evg. till 9:30. Tues. Jan 1st - 1907. = 14° morn, cloudy, N.E. at office only about 7 hrs. Home Evg. Wed. Jan. 2 - 1907. 30° S.E. wind, damp. Saw the girls off on morning train for Cedar Falls again. Rainy day. Jan. 3d. 20° cloudy N.W. Skating everywhere.
