Memoranda 1919 Sun Jan 5 - 0, calm; 9° + and 1° - evg. Fair W. snow evg. Rev. [Peltore?] preached morn & evg., & took dinner with us. H. & I went both times; Charlotte having swollen face. 6th Mon.= 4°; 17°; mostly cloudy & south, with another inch or two of light snow. - Doing church afs work mostly. - Roosevelt Died. - 4:15 a.m. 7th 21° N.W. snwg; 22° fair. 10° evg. Ar. J. Rodgers' body arrived from Omaha, & taken right to cemetery a.m/ His son Guy (only) came with remains Office evg. Insurance. 8th Wed. + 4° S.W. wind, cloudy 27° fair Office as usual 9th = Fair, 9° to 18° N.W. Not much doing & short days. Some abstracting. Office evg. - [afs?] &c. 10th Fair 18° S.W. 35° max. Office adds & ends 11th Fair, NE. 19°; 33° max. cloudy P.M. - East wind -
