September, SATURDAY, 3, 1864. up sun rise 42 payed off to day We still lay by & do nothing a good many boys go home preyer meeting at night SUNDAY, 4. up sun rise go to sundy school morn, Church 11 & night enjoy my self first rate. reciev order at night to march at 6 in morn for Col, MONDAY, 5. up at 4 eat B. get to C. at 8 payed at 10.1/2 Oclock. took 3 oclock train to newark. buss to Uncle Johns at night Cloudy
