10/1/42 Dearest, I like the suggestion you made for $100. If it will help I'll write to:- G. Macauley J. Diamond - me J. Gudonis Edwin B. Hill A. M. Adams Helm Spink Is there anything specifically that we should any one of them for? The suggestion that we get comments on $100 is good too. I expect, however, to "point with pride." (what can "I view with alarm.") I rather think it may run more than six sheets although we might keep it down to that. I think I said in the last letter that you could send me more stencils. The mailing went out but there wasn't quite enough to go around. -------------- Three days later!!! I got the stencils and I'll run then soon. Tuesday after school was Teachers' Meeting; it got out at 6 p.m. At 7 Red Cross First Aid began and ran until 10. Wednesday. After school I got my hair cut (it was either that or get a violin.) In the evening two of the men came over and we practiced our First Aid. By golly, you know you do have to practice, too.
