other you may get and I am ever so much obliged to you besides. Mr McDill [illegible] you that some of my old friends think I about through by this time but just tell Stephens that I expect to come back and buy his farm next season if he will sell. Just tell him to send me the least price he will take for it & I will try & pay him down on it. Business is a little dull now but prospects are favorable. I have sold all of my farming implements that I bought I still have a few left that I have on commission I have sold something over ($1500) fifteen hundred dollars worth since I set off this spring & made a profit clear of a little over twenty percent. That will do pretty well for a green horn, wont it. Tell any of the board that you may see that I will get impatient with them after while if they do not pay pretty soon. remember me to Mrs McDill & Mary & all of my inquiring friend & please accept of my heartfelt and sincere thanks for the favors you have conferred on me I will write to you as soon as I receive the money, as I expect you will get my dispatch before you get this Yours as ever TC Pressly Lacona Warren Co Iowa
