I first go round with a prospectus and sample copy and take subscriptions and then go round and deliver the books at some stated time, perhaps two months after I have taken the subscriptions the books are payable on delivery only, I traveled through Randolph and Washington last summer and sold a good manny books I got three Hundred subscribers in Randolph alone. I cannot tell you anything particular about the folks at home for I have not been there for two months but if there was any sickness in particular I think should have heard of it as the send me a letter occasionally which keeps me posted up on the principal events that take place. I am not married yet but I have been Sparking pretty hard this winter and there still appears to be some hopes. I could write a great deal about this place but it would not interrest you and so I will bring my epistle to a close. Pleas give my well wishes to Mrs McDill and all my acquaintances that you may see Your Affectionate Cousin W. G. Chambers P.S. Pleas write soon and direct to Sparta
