Jordan's Grove Ill Sept 22, 1863 Friend McDill I have received yours in wchich you give me information that you will have to charge me $15- a head for keeping my colts another year. Now I think that is taking off their head right fast and lost that you should get their herds off before I get them away from you - I want to have you buy them so as that you may put their heads on again - Charles
