Ther. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 1888 Wea. Mercury 20 [degrees] below, this morn, tho' colder more pleasant being quiet. All appear as well with our folks, & guess spending day much as usual. An old lady in to sit with Rosanna awhile P.M. George at home with others most of evening. About as usual self & spending day much same, but weaker in eve, & realized more nervousness again. Ther. Thursday 12 Wea. Not much less cold, with blustering snow storm lasting most of day. Much same with our folks guess. George & Rosanna busy as ever at usual duties should think & he out all evening. Tho't had good night rest was weak & poorly again today, & only at knitting of some kind with usual chores, & some reading, spending part of both A.M. & P.M. in dining room.
