Monday, Mar. 5, 1888 Mild & quite pleasant. Clyde coughing less & others about same & at usual labors. Rosa with children - out awhile in eve, & Geo home early with them. An elderly lady in to sit awhile with R- P.M. As well self, at usual chores &c A.M. & having "no knitting" or particular job on hand was at looking over & planning some what PM. to make old clothes hold out if possible. Tuesday 6 Quite mild & pleasant. Others on hand extra early this morn & Rosa had washing &c well out of way A.M. Think she was out with friend awhile P.M. Clyde rather poorly from cold, without much appetite think, but about & at usual chores. Much same self, spending day much as usual in chamber, or with perhaps more reading than sometimes.
