Tuesday, April 10, 1888 Rain during night cooler some what, more pleasant P.M. Of course Ferry passing back & forth three or four times, & one steamer down certain first of evening. Much same with our folks, & spending day much as usual. Clyde in school of course. As well self, & with usual chores at repairing, finishing cotton stockings for Clyde, 2d pr Wednesday 11 Quite pleasant, & spring like. Our folks on hand in good season, & Rosanna at washing most A. M. having extra for spring think she spent P.M. at home with perhaps a caller or two. After another good nights rest quite as well self, & with repairing, looking over & making less some what, was at knitting rules awhile, & commenc'd edge of red Saxony for R-
